Day 1 - We actually stayed at 2 of the beach houses and woke up there before coming to Serrana. Jermal was our driver for the 4 days & he was amazing! Definitely a must do. We decided to go hike the “moderate” hike of Gros Piton. It was HARD! It was a CLIMB! Pack lots of water, start very early, don’t do if you’re doubting yourself. Dinner at Mango Tree was divine! All very delicious food and atmosphere, good service. Hike was $50 pp & you had guides. Day 2 - Today we had Jermal take us on the Soufriere Tour. We decided against the Tet Paul Nature Hike because we were so exhausted from the Gros Piton Hike. We ordered breakfast from the Menu in the Villa. Jermal brough it to us. It was different…hot dogs in the bfast guesadill…boiled eggs in the egg sandwiches. Coffee was good thou. Black coffee came with lots of sugar in it. Jermal took us to the mud baths and was our best Paparazzi ever. Took all the photos and videos of us! It was worth it. Your hair will feel like stra afterwards. It’s ok Mon. then we went to a waterfall and dipped in there. Again jermal took wonderful photos. Jermal took us to lunch at paradise hotel. The food was not the best, service was meh, view was nice but would not recommend. Jermal brough us by the market afterwards. We got some snacks and drink to have for dinner. Stayed in and drank and ate. It was a good night. Day 3 – Jermal set us up with a snorkel boat guide. We went to sugar beach & two spots at Anse Chastanet. All were great and offered different things to see. The boat to ourselves was wonderful as we saw many packed tour boats leaving the dock. Drinks onboard, fun guides. Definitely a MUST. Do the snorkeling! Anything Jermal & Janus provide or recommend is good. We felt so taken car of and safe. Ended at Anse Chastanet Beach. We planned to rent chairs and hang out on the beach but it was raining so we just ate at the restaurant on the beach & hang in some nice lounge chairs for a while. Food, drink, and service was the best we had while here! Jermal picked us up and took us back to the market for snacks. We ended the night very chill in the villa. Tips
XoXo Kenz and I just spent the most amazing week in Sargas Villa celebrating our honeymoon.
We want to give a special shout out to both Shane-boy and Darnel-Boy for taking us everywhere we needed to go, giving us the best advice for every place we went to and for also partying it up one nigh even though our dance moves probably embarrassed them so much! Here is a breakdown of what we did and favorite recommendations. Day 1 – We arrived and relaxed at the villa. Shane brought us dinner from seashells. Day 2 – Darnel took us on the Soufriere tour. We did the Tet-Paul Nature Trail, Sulphur Springs, drive in volcano, and waterfall. The mud baths were definitely a highlight for us! That night we enjoyed dinner at Dasheene. Go early for cocktails to enjoy the views Day 3 - We took a private boat up o Marigot Bay and stopped to snorkel along the way. Marigot Bay is a must sea. The most beautiful bay ever! We also met cool locals there and tried the coco loco drink out of a coconut! For dinner, we picked up food from the Dream in Soufriere. Day 4 - This was Easter and a fun relaxing beach day at Paradise Beach! We loved it there and then had dinner at Mango Tree. You have to try the Sour-Sop Ice Cream there! Day 5- We slept in and enjoyed the pool at the villa. For dinner we went to Tree Top which was the most incredible unique meal we had! It's a must! Day 6- Chocolate tour day at The Hotel Chocolat! This tour was so cool and we got to make our own bar to take home. This was a top favorite activity for us. Day 7 - Gros Piton Hike in the morning and relaxed at the villa the rest of the day. The hike was a major feat. It's like boulder climbing more than a hike but we loved it and felt so accomplished after. We then had dinner at Rabbot and enjoyed all the cocoa infused dishes. All in all this was the best trip ever! Top recommendations are local Soufriere Tour, Boat Day up Marigot Bay, Chocolate Making at Hotel Chocolat, and dinner at Tree Top :) Mackenzie and Andrew We came to St. Lucia because it is cold and snowy in Maine in February!!
We have realized that every time we travel, we learn something….We usually like to be very independent and walk everywhere but the mile or 2 that good told us to each beach….well, that didn’t take into the hills and the roads! Since we realized that we would need to rely on some rids, we were so pleasantly surprised ho wonderful Shane was. He seriously made our stay so easy and convenient and he was such a pleasant company. His attention to detail was awesome! We did the Soufriere tour, the hike, volcano, mud baths and waterfall were lovely. Having Shane take care of everything was wonderful. 3 of the days we had him drive us to different beaches, he was always on time and explained how each beach operated. He made reservation for dinner for us at Green Fig and Chocolat and he made it all seem so effortless! Also arranging the doctor for the covid test was a comfort. We also had the pleasure of meeting and having rides with his brothers Liam and Chris, also personable, kind and helpful, definitely runs in the family! St. Lucia and Shane you will always hold a special place in our hearts! But…Wait, the views and the infinity pool and the privacy were epically fabulous! So many good things…..Feeling very blessed and fortunate. Gill & Chris Andy & Aaron
We had our hearts set on a St Lucian honeymoon after our wedding, and although we had to postpone our trip for 2 years, it was well worth the wait! Janus and his team were very accommodating. Our driver, Jermal was fantastic helping us plan out each day, making reservations, and getting us where we wanted to be. Some of our favorite things about our St Lucia Trip: • Project Chocolat tour and chocolate making. • Dinner at Treetop – this is an absolute must! The Indian fusion cuisine was amazing, and the treehouse is beautifully decorated with unbeatable sunset views. • Tet Paul Nature Trail – this fit our comfort leel for vacation hiking and came with breathtaking views! • Sunsets and stargazing from the Villas roof. • Dinner at Dasheene – it’s up high and close to the Pitons, plus the food is decadent. • Driving Tour with Jermal – We stopped at different view Points and local attractions ( Like Toraille Waterfall) around Soufriere. Shoutout to Jermal for his excellent photography skills! Make sure to ask him to make you rum punch – he’s a punch genius! • Pounty’s Pizza - we like to try pizza wherever we go and this was a nice surprise. Sadly our boat tour and beach bbq were cancelled due to rain, but that’s all the more reason we need to come back! We’re going to really miss our morning coffee on the balcony. The beautiful scenery and climate, and just how kind everyone has been! Our most sincere thanks to Janus, Kim, Jermal and everyone else on the team. We hope to meet again soon! My first trip to St. Lucia had me a little anxious around which company to use for the airport/hotel transfer. Based on other reviews, I decided on St. Lucia Airport Shuttle. Upon my inquiry I received immediate responses with clear answers to my questions. I was completely satisfied with the cost. My driver was at the airport waiting for me upon my arrival with a sign that was clearly seen showing my name. He was very polite. I read so many reviews about how other transportation companies had drivers who drove too fast around all the windy roads, but that was not an issue with St. Lucia Airport Shuttle. My driver on the trip to the resort and back to the airport were both very polite and drove very safe. If I were traveling solo as a female, I would have felt completely at ease. There's no doubt that I'll be using this transportation company for all future trips to St. Lucia. Why? Because I expect good service, clear immediate communication, and of course affordable prices. They served me well. I give my highest recommendation for St. Lucia Airport Shuttle. Tracy Hello,
I found your taxi service to be very reliable with polite and trustworthy drivers. I enjoyed the pick up service at the airport, the drive to The Landing with a stop off at the grocery store. The driver also stopped at a look-out area so that we could get a photo. See photo at the bottom of the page. The drop-off to the airport was sad. The driver was expedient and great. Best of everything. Thank you for all of your help. Sheree Good morning Janus
Yes, everything was perfect with our transport, Ahmed (I hope I remember the name correctly) was very nice, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. Our journey didn't seem that long because of the nice chat we had together, we found out some interesting things about St Lucia. His driving was excellent especially with the road being so windy. We would recommend your services to anyone. Have a good weekend Angela From the beginning of our commute to St. Lucia, nothing went as planned. The car service we ordered 24hrs ago failed to show, the airline got us to UVF 9hrs late at 12:30am the next morning.
Yet, as we walked out of the deserted airport in St. Lucia, there was our St. Lucia Airport Shuttle driver holding a sign with our name on it. What a relief! Kendy cheerfully greeted us & made sure we de-stressed in our Lexus ride up to the hotel. Same, great service for our return. Turns out there was a big cricket match on the island which clogged the main roads, but Kendy knew how to get us around the mess & to the airport in plenty of time. By the time we got home, we realized the one & only transportation company we dealt with for the entire trip to perform as promised was St. Lucia Airport Shuttle. Fantastic experience. Janus & his team took great care of the four of us. Rich We were planning to drop you a note anyway once home and settled to thank you very much for helping to make our holiday so special. Your service truly exceeded our expectations in every way.
On arrival to St. Lucia, it was great to have Jordan there to greet us and take us to the hotel. He gave Graham and I such a warm and friendly welcome to the island and immediately made us feel quite at home. Graham and I enjoyed hearing about what we had in-store during our stay and, of course, that continued very much when we had the pleasure of Marvin taking ourselves and my brother and wife for a day's tour. We had a fabulous time and, there again, found him very personable and interesting - and he even, very kindly, treated us to some local bread en-route which we loved it so much that, before we left yesterday, we found the flour in the supermarket and now I just hope I can do it justice! Then, even though we were obviously very sad to leave cum Friday, our driver (who unfortunately we didn't catch his name) also was outstanding in every regard and, within a short space of time, made us feel eager to return to St. Lucia as soon as we start saving again! Once again, Janus, thank you and your team for helping to make our trip to St. Lucia a very memorable one. Regards. Marian and Graham We had a very comfortable and enjoyable ride with Sam ( hope I got the name right).
Sam arrived on time, and as we drove he explained the features of your beautiful island, described the different plants and flowers etc. The journey time went very fast. As always, we found Janus drivers very reliable and pleasant. Will certainly use the company again if we visit St Lucia, and would recommend to friends heading that way. Thanks again. Best regards /Hassan |
