I experienced a pleasant encounter with our driver Fabian upon leaving the St Lucia UVF airport - he was friendly and offered many suggestions and local highlights as we traveled from Vieux Fort to our hotel at Rodney Bay.
Because we arrived during the afternoon prior to the St Lucia Independence Day celebration, many roads were closed in preparation for the festivities. Fabian navigated through back roads and got us to the Royal St Lucia resort in plenty of time for unpacking and dinner. Our departure trip was more direct and Fabian was genuinely interested in our stay on the island. I appreciate his warmth and hospitality ! Thanks again for your dependable service ! After hearing horror stories about getting car sick on these rides I must admit I was a little nervous, but I never felt sick on any of our transfers.
